May 4 - DAY 1 – DUBROVNIK ARRIVAL and transfer by luxury coach to SPLIT (lunch, welcome dinner)                                                                                                                                                                                            

In the afternoon we will stroll along Split’s stunning Riva promenade and explore the amazing Diocletian’s Palace, an UNESCO World Heritage site. This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to photograph St. Duje Cathedral, Peristil, The Golden gate, Statue of Gregory of Nin, City clock and so much more.

May 5 - DAY 2 – SPLIT – TROGIR -  ŠIBENIK - ZADAR                                                                                                                                                                                      

As well as Šibenik, Trogir is on UNESCO list as one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. It is fascinating place to just wander around the wide seaside promenade.                                                                                                                                                                            

On your way you will stop in Šibenik, meet with the local guide for another half day tour, you will visit UNESCO protected St. James Cathedral which is the most famous attraction in the city. We continue to Zadar for a city tour and best sunset photos at Zadar riva.

May 6  - DAY 3 –  ZADAR – MAKARSKA – HVAR ISLAND                                                                                                                                                                                      

In the early morning we will drive to Makarska and take a  ferry to the island of Hvar, the longest and the sunniest island in the Adriatic sea. Along the way we pass the beautiful Adriatic islands of Solta and Brac. Voted one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Hvar is famous for unspoiled landscape, rich cultural heritage and as Croatia’s trendiest resort of the jet-set. We stop in the town of Hvar and explore the Hvar Cathedral, Spanish fortress, the Arsenal and the Theatre. In 1612 the oldest civic theatre in Europe was founded in the town of Hvar and is active to this day. Before going back, you should not forget a unique Hvar souvenir – handmade agave lace patterns, unique works of art by the Benedictine nuns, a part of the island’s UNESCO heritage.

May 7 - Day 4 HVAR ISLAND                                                                                                                                                                                         

Day free at leisure or continue with some sightseeing on own.

May 8  - DAY 5 HVAR – NEUM – PELJEŠAC – KORULA                                                                                                                                                                                        

Early morning departure from hotel in Hvar to Pelješac peninsula to admire the town of Ston, known for its 5-kilometer wall, delicious oysters and old salt ponds that still produce salt in the traditional way. Catch the passenger boat from Orebi and sail to the island of Korula, where you will take a sightseeing tour and get some free time to visit the birthplace of the great explorer, Marco Polo. After that transfer to hotel in Korcula for dinner and overnight.

May 9 -  DAY 6: KORULA - DUBROVNIK                                                                                                                                                                              

After breakfast we will be heading back to Peljesac for wine tasting at Edivo Wine bar. They are very special for its unique limited-edition wine Navis Mysterium, aged under the sea in an amphora. We continue to Dubrovnik that is one of the world’s best preserved walled cities and therefore under UNESCO protection. It will welcome you with a typical Dalmatian hospitality. Dubrovnik sightseeing tour will focus on the beautifully preserved medieval town with its imposing city walls. Among the highlights is the Rector’s Palace, Franciscan Monastery, which houses one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe. Afternoon free at leisure to explore the narrow cobbled streets of old city on your own.

May 10 - DAY 7: DUBROVNIK                                                                                                                                                                                         

Exploring Dubrovnik. Cable car to Mt. Srdj, we suggest to do a half day cruise to Elafiti islands.

May 11 - DAY 8: DUBROVNIK – KOTOR – BUDVA                                                                                                                                                                                          

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Kotor, first city you will visit in Montenegro. City of Kotor is wedged between brooding mountains and a moody corner of the bay and is a part of UNESCO heritage. With local guide you will have opportunity to discover the city and visit St. Tryphon Cathedral. After guiding you will have lunch and later time to hike up the old town walls above Kotor and see the most beautiful view of the bay. Later on, you will continue to the coastal city of Budva where you will have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

May 12 - DAY 9: BUDVA – SVETI STEFAN – SKADAR LAKE - PODGORICA                                                                                                                                                          

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Budva and meet with the local guide to have a guided tour of the city. The coastal area around Budva, called the Budva riviera, is the center of Montenegro tourism, known for its well-preserved medieval walled city, sandy beaches and diverse nightlife. You will also see the beautiful island of St. Stefan and later continue your trip to Skadar lake to enjoy a cruise with boat and lunch. Continue to Podgorica for orientational tour of the capital of Montenegro, later dinner at the hotel and overnight.

May 13 - DAY 10: PODGORICA – OSTROG – NIKŠI - TREBINJE                                                                                                                                                              

After breakfast continue towards Ostrog monastery. This is a holy place visited by believers of all religions from all over the world. It is the third most visited place in the whole Christian world. Continue towards Nikši, important industrial centre of Montenegro and stop on the way to Trebinje for lunch and spectacular views. Dinner and overnight in Trebinje.

May 14  - DAY 11: TREBINJE – DUBROVNIK -farewell dinner-                                                                                                                                                                                           

After breakfast transfer back to Croatia for enjoying a last day in Dubrovnik.

After breakfast transfer to Dubrovnik airport for a flight back home.

Expenses covered

Normally, our stated land costs include the cost of all guides, leaders, permits obtained after arrival, lodging accommodations, food and entry fees as specified, and all surface transportation associated with the planned itinerary. We do our best to avoid increasing prices after receipt of your deposit, but, rarely, factors beyond our control might require us to change our prices without prior notice, even after you have signed up.

Expenses not covered

Costs not included in the price include: meals not indicated as included in itineraries; meals prior to arrival in starting cities; transfers, if not arriving or departing on the scheduled flights; soft drinks, bottled water, and alcoholic beverages; medical expenses, costs of hospitalization, or evacuation from remote areas; laundry; airport departure taxes not included on your airline ticket; accommodations en route to starting cities; visas; airfares; gratuities; and insurance.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AS IT RELATES TO TRAVEL AND COVID-19 With our group.

All participants MUST carry Medical Insurance for emergencies and travel evacuations while traveling with CPE PHOTO WORKSHOPS LLC.

It is also advisable for you to carry Travel Insurance to cover the cost of your workshop trip due to an unforeseen and unavoidable cancellation.

Entry into Croatia: A negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival or a negative rapid test taken within 48 hours of arrival. Vaccines are readily available in Croatia. Croatia has vaccinated 63% of its population as of Feb. 9 2022. Currently the Covid numbers in Croatia are going down each day. We strongly encourage each participant to wear a mask when indoors or in the vehicle. Drivers/Guides will be vaccinated and hotels have procedures in place to keep things safe.
