Ira L. Black Photography is a division of ILBMedia.  Ira is a NYC-based Portrait, Editorial and Commercial photographer.  

In the world of soccer, he has created a model for Sponsored Player Storytelling Series of content that drives social media engagment and enhances the connection between fans and the player.   Ira has been photograping soccer for over 14 years and has a unique ability to collaborate with athletes to help tell the story of the individual as part of the team. 

Ira is a Getty Images contributing photographer focusing on Sports and News.  Under the editorial umbrella, Ira has photographed His Holiness The Dalai Lama, David Beckham, Jay Sean, Danielle Brooks, Guillermo Diaz, Naturi Naughton and others.

His work has been featured in The NY Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Huffington Post, ESPN, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, GQ, as well as other magazines, newspapers and social media platforms around the world.   

Ira is also a passionate digital photography educator of adults and students. He has developed curriculum that allow others to achieve new levels in their photography.  Ira founded the I Rock Arts program for teaching which integrates Arts with other school curriclum disciplines. 

Prior to his photographic direction, Ira was a successful global professional where he led teams in sales and business development.
